As per the university guidelines, the selected individuals should strictly follow the below instruction to get their research grant.

1.     The grant disbursement will take place in three stages, depending upon the submission of a utilization certificate:

          50% at the first stage (1st Quarter)

          25% at the second stage (2nd Quarter)

          and the remaining 25% at the final stage(3rd Quarter).

2.     It is mandatory for the principal investigator to collaborate with a guide or co-investigator from the same department to conduct the research.

3.     The grant release necessitates a letter of acceptance from both the co-investigator and the guide. Additionally, a joint undertaking is required from the principal investigator and co-investigator, along with the guide, affirming that the project will be completed within the designated one-year timeframe and that the funds received will be utilized appropriately.

4.     Furthermore, the grant release is conditional upon the submission of an ethics committee clearance certificate.

5.     The publication of two papers relevant to your project in Scopus-indexed peer-reviewed journals, including the university's name, is mandatory.

6.     An interim report must be submitted for each quarter alongside the utilization certificate, which should be forwarded by the guide.

7.     Any filings for patents or copyrights under Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) must be done under the university's name.

8.     Moreover, candidates selected for this quarter are ineligible to apply for further grants for the subsequent three years.

9.     In case the project cannot be completed within the one-year timeframe, an extension of 3-6 months may be granted with valid justifications. However, if the project remains incomplete, the granted amount must be refunded to the university without delay.
